| Hey fellow TG"ers, I have extra time on my hands these days so I thought I would give this topic a shot,im going to do a general review of the latest in horror/terror/sci-fi out there and open it up to discussion and invite those of you interested to join in and even do your own reviews and discuss anything that has caught your attention! I will start things off with OVERLORD, to be posted later today, so what do you guys all think good idea? bad idea? just tired of seeing my face or posts in the forum? lol cheers all see ya with first review tonight! | |

| So I watched Overlord and I gotta say I was impressed, it was not just a horror movie (though it was not lacking in the blood and guts department) the producers rather cleverly mixed two genres, war and horror together and it worked. There is a three way lead role with relative unknowns, Wyatt Russell (who plays "Dud" on Lodge 49) Jovan Adepo and Mathilde Ollivier whom I have never seen before sharing the spotlight, if you like horror and WWII pics this movie is for you, its not a jump scare type of movie you see most everything coming but what comes is worth watching, no spoilers here just a 6 of 10 on the rating scale, if you have a couple hours to spare I suggest you make some popcorn get comfy and enjoy this one!!!!! | Hey all just watched another film in the sci-fi genre called The Domestics, kind of a combo of Road Warrior/ The Warriors and the Purge all spun in a blender and poured out into a mid range budget GOOD movie!! it stars Kate (the long road home) Bosworth and Tyler Hoechlin (superman on the supergirl show) husband and wife team. This movie worked for me, there is plenty of action, blood&guts and a twist that was refreshing for this type of film, its not exactly an original idea but it works on its own because of the relationship and current state of thier marriage nuff said bout that, do yourself a favor when ya have 2 hours of spare time watch this one and I think you will be happy that you did! | Fortitude---- Hey guyz I just heard the series Fortitude is coming back for a 4 part final season. For those who have not seen the first 2 seasons it is a great show, the premise is A peaceful small isolated arctic town is suddenly not so peaceful when people start turning up dead, wont go into details here but its worth a look, it has twists and turns and can easily fit into sci-fi,horror,thriller and yes even a little comedy, heres a link to a trailer, please take a look I think you will like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6vyN4O-Kgo Cheers!!! | |

| Well I watched nazi overlord and even Tom Sizemore could not save this one from the garbage pile! omg the plot,the acting even the special effects were amateurish at best, they hoped to capitalize on Overlords success but failed miserably, in my opinion dont waste your time watching this one!!!! | |

| Okay all, im gonna send you back 4 years on this movie, "Dark Was The Night" a horror flick starring Kevin Durand ( he played the Angel Gabriel in the movie Legion and Vasili on the series The Strain) and Lukas Haas (inception and The revenant). This movie is one that I have watched 3 times since its release and the last movie I actually paid to see!!! its a tale spun differently than most recent horror flicks full of wtf was that moments and it wastes no time in letting us see the villian or critter whichever suits ya, not a thinkers movie, it gets to the point quick and often, I already gave it the best praise I could and that is I PAID to see it and I almost never do that so snuggle in to your favorite movie watchin spot and enjoy!!!
