| nowadays i use vlc mostly for movies and tv series and media monkey for my music, i also have itunes 12.4 for my music too as i like the layout | |

| I'm pure old-school  ....i use an old device some folks like to call a "Television"  It has many preset "channels" that have movies/tv/music/radio/news etc etc. ....all in one place like a kodi thingy You can still get a "Television" today ....and the top end models come with a "remote control" ...this is like a very early version of "Alexa" but without the voice confirmation For everything else i use what they call a "DVD Player"  ....but that's a bit too technical to describe in here so i'll just let you imagine how amazeballz that is? And an added bonus is that you can play games and run your P.C. through your "Television"...which you can't do with VLC etc ...Win-Win if you ask meThis post was sponsored by "Vicoden"....if you have some, contact me. | Mostly use VLC with Windows and Linux OS's. But I also use Media Player Classic Home Cinema version 2.1.4.0 a (Released 2024 and is still being developed so you can use that version Dronska) with K-Lite Codec Pack Mega also comes with the latest MPC HC. | Since, I think, more then 10 years I said goodby to MS Windows and switched to Linux Xubuntu. VLC is preinstallad and for me it is the best opensource player that exist. | |
