|    To celebrate Easter we want you to create an Easter banner. It can be any theme you like, as long as it has to do with Easter and TorrentGalaxy. So get creative and enter.   Rules: Theme: Easter & TorrentGalaxy. Size of banners needs to be 800 px wide and 200 px high. File format of banner must be PNG or JPEG. Maximum entries are a total of three banners per artist. Users are allowed to switch entries only once. Banners must be original and have your own graphic work added to it. By entering the competition the user grants TorrentGalaxy permission to display their banner in User Art and elsewhere on the site. All entries must be send to miok through pm. All entries must be anonymous, no username or initials are allowed. The competition starts March 1st and all entries must be received before March 22nd at which time the competition will close. Voting will start shortly there after. All members and staff can enter the banner competition. (All times listed are US/Eastern. Refer to the countdown timer at the bottom of this post for the exact amount of time remaining to enter your banner). No asking for votes for your banners in any way, on this or any other site. Doing so can get you disqualified and can also result in permanently being banned from entering any future competitions. The winning banners will be determined through voting in a separate thread. There will be 4 winners. In the event of a tie for first, second, third or fourth place, Ghostrider, RedBaron58 and/or miok will cast the deciding vote. The entries will be added anonymously to a separate voting thread in a random order. Each member (including staff) is allowed 3 votes. To vote, make only one post containing the numbers of all three banners you wish to vote for. ALL VOTES ARE FINAL. No one is allowed to edit their posts in the voting thread. Doing so will result in disqualification of your vote. To be fair to everyone, each participant may win only one prize. If a banner gets enough votes to win first and second place, it will receive the prize for first place and second place will go to the banner with the next most votes. This will assure four separate winners. Entrants may not vote for their own banner, doing so will result in your vote being disqualified. All site rules (including Rule 55) apply to this competition. Placement of winning banners: The 4 winning banners will show in User Art at the bottom of site.  Prizes: First place: 300 rep points and banner showing on User Art Second place: 200 rep points and banner showing on User Art Third place: 100 rep points and banner showing on User Art Fourth place: 50 rep points and banner showing on User ArtWe would like to thank everyone in advance for participating in this and all other TGx community events. | This gives our artists approximately 3 weeks to create and enter their banners and leaves 3 weeks for all members to discover the competition and enter their votes. That doesn't seem like too long to me. Life is more fun when you're not constantly having to hurry Merlin. | |
