Another Apple TV show I was fortunate to catch. I was so impressed with this series, and wish I could see more than than whats available so far. From what I understand there is another season coming.

It had everything a show should have in order to capture my attention and retain it, especially the cliffhangers at the end of each episode that would want me to keep on watching it. I really binged out on this the first time around.

I love What-If movies and alternate timeline stories with all its complications. For All Mankind has a brilliant premise and the execution of it is done incredibly well. The show presents an alternative history whereby the Soviets won the race to space and were the first ones to land on the moon.

For a nation who is obsessed with being first in everything, such as the USA, this is obviously a blow. The first 20 minutes of the show is a great piece in demonstrating the impact of being second on the nation.

The craftsmanship of combination between old footage of the moon landing and recordings of Nixon ranting about the Soviets beating us to the moon are so real you start to believe this actually took place.

For writers it’s a great example how this could be done in an elegant way. In some of the episodes you can recognize famous sentences, such as  “Failure is not an option” but now get a new interpretation to them

For All Mankind raises the question of what does it mean being second, how does it feel when you know you have the chance to be first but instructed to wait, due to other reasons.

I gave the show full marks. I would highly recommend it.

Verdict – 10/10 in my book. You wont be disappointed, I wasn't. Loved it ... :_love :_love :_love
There are 3 series: I started watching it last night, but fell asleep after about 20 minutes. What I saw looked a good start, got very good reviews. Apple are promoting it as a top show on the home page. Try again tonight, if there isn;t any footy on maybe make it through the first episode :_:O

There are 4 seasons, and they are all avaible here. I have read that they are making season 5. I loved this series.

Yes, just looked. They have 4 seasons on Apple. Must be why they are advertising it so much if they have a new lot of episodes lined up. They do make high quality programs.

A new, old London periodic drama. I think the name speaks for its self combined with the creator of the peaky blinders! I'm expecting great things. 10 minutes into the first episode... Better download the 2nd 😂.

I am about to start processing my favourite Western Movies and with my software [Topaz Video AI] that means i can convert 'letterbox' visual movies into full screen which is the real reason i bought the software and freshen them up in the process, more detail and a touch sharper.
A 2 hour movie takes 6 hours 'ish' to convert from 1080p to 4K, and if you want to fill the screen then it takes far longer of course, 16 - 20 hours all up.
Now you know the reason why most movies are uploaded with black bars on them, the only thing the software cannot do is convert IMAX to full screen, presumably as it has 2 different image sizes.

So i am processing 3 episodes of 'Godless' to watch while i sort out

Unforgiven
Dances With Wolves [ will take 24 hours probably as it is 4 hours long]
Tombstone
Wyatt Earp [going to give this another try despite bad reviews]

The Spaghetti Westerns will need denoising as they are heavily grained due to their age, 'denoising' is the process of cleaning the signal sent for the visuals on the movie, [all the grains] of which you can also add if you wish to a 'waxy' movie.

Generally i begin with a TGX, RARBG or Yify 1080p around 2GB because they are untouched and have some form of subs also :_pirate
