| Hi all Is this the right place to point out that some torrents have been mis-labelled? I think that The Chelsea Detective 2x05 - 2x08 are actually episodes 2x01 - 2x04. I downloaded them thinking that they were new episodes, only to find that I had seen them all. As my 'TV Seen DB' tells me that 2x01 - 2x04 were the last episodes of The Chelsea Detective that I watched, it seems to me that these new episodes are just the four episodes of season 2 re-labelled. Is this the right place to point this out? I wasn't able to make comments on the episode pages; comments must be closed there. | |

| . CAN A COUNTRY BLOCK TORRENTS THAT IT DOESN'T LIKE? . I ask this because earlier today I was downloading three torrents of "The.Zelensky.Story E01- E03" (obtained from another site) and experiencing problems. . Each torrent was dominated by non-seeding Chinese peers. I did manage to successfully download E02 thanks to a peer in Hong Kong (we still love the "Colonies"). Nothing is moving. . Could China, "the friend of Russia", be blocking this fascinating documentary on President Zelensky? Perhaps they want to please President Lilliputian Putin? . On TGx the series was originally available some months ago as "BBC.The.Zelensky.Story" with the three episodes combined into one file. That downloaded satisfactorily in the first week of September. The TGx torrent is still, of course, active and is d/l at 15Mbps - not a Chinese peer in sight, yet. . An interesting question, methinks. Orrin P Quest .  | |

| Some torrents have file system quirks and qBittorrent can't handle them (on Windows typically), Usually it's a leading or trailing space in the folder name or an invalid character in a filename, which NTFS has issues with. For example the "?" ``>`` any symbol is not allowed in a Windows filename. Also, torrents with path lengths exceeding 260 chars qBittorrent has issues with if you are not using Windows 10 or 11 (or didn't check the box during install for long path support). uTorrent seems to have a means of encoding the filename and foldername data such that the correct torrent data is seeded regardless of the filesystem. If there is a read only file or folder in your torrent, you can also see ERROR. Setting the files and/or folders to have write permissions, doing a force recheck sometimes fixes the issue, but it sometimes returns. The easy solution to ERROR is to redownload those into uTorrent 2.2.1 (other clients may work too, post if you have solved this with another client). Source Reddit Try this: Open file location. Right-click on a single or multiple files or the folder containing your files. Select the bottom context menu option "Properties". Remove check-mark from "Attributes: Read-only". Click on "Apply". Try, changing the set location and .store location, somewhere else, and force-check probably fixes it. Hope this helps... You can use uTorrent, it handles all types. | |
