More than 100 years and still such an amazing movie. Wonderful watch. Warm and comforting humour and story. Honestly, loved it.

Just because a movie is old doesn't always mean it's going to be bad. The people just lived a more simple life back then & people were different.

I totally agree. I haven't seen many old movies but am very willing to do so. I do have some on my watchlist but I'd love to get some recommendations from you all :)

I can't recommend any right now because the oldest movies I watch are usually no earlier than the 1960's. I just never liked older movies. I guess cause I don't understand that time period cause I never lived in it just like those people back then wouldn't understand today. I'm not saying those old movies are bad. They are just not my taste. I Loved To Kill A Mockingbird. One of my Favorite old movies. It's a timeless classic for the whole family.

Watched Superman 1978 today. I found this superman to be a bit more charming than Cavil's superman, if I remember Man of Steel correctly. I liked this movie but I'm not sure if I wanna watch the remaining 3 parts.

I don't watch rom-coms often, but was in the mood to enjoy one today. Despite the numerous plot holes, this was a sweet and cozy weekend watch; it gave me the feel-good vibe I was craving. The Irish landscapes in the movie are beautiful!
And my favourite actor in this movie? Lamb Chop, of course!

Watching Monster Summer 2024. So far it's really good but more for the preteen crowd than adults but can be enjoyed by anybody.

I think Christopher Reeve is always going to be the best Superman just like Michael Keaton as Batman. He was a great man that endured pure hell after that horse accident. :_:-(

Aight, you convinced me to watch the remaining parts and also the Batman movies :p
Yeah no doubt. It was really sad that the reel-life Superman had to undergo such pain irl.:_:-(

Life is so Unfair. It seems that the nicer the person the more they will go through in life & all the :_shit:_asses live to be 100.:_:?:_facepalm

The one Batman I don't recommend is Batman & Robin 1997. It's as bad as the 1960's TV Show.

Never Let Me Go is a hauntingly beautiful adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's book. It's true to the source material, both in theme and tone. It's a slow, poignant and gut-wrenching watch. The music in it is both lovely and melancholic.

As someone who has read the book, I loved this movie. While the complex character development of the book has been condensed here, the emotional core remains intact.  Without having read the book, some scenes might be confusing or not have much impact. Yet, it's worth a watch for its thought-provoking themes of love, regret, fate and more! Give it a try :)

I will definitely re-watch this movie :_O:-D

Rush

Image error

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1258216/

Rush follows the lives of members of the prestigious Tactical Response team (TR), which is based on the real life Victoria Police Critical Incident Response Team, a highly mobile unit that fills the operational gap between general duties police and the SWAT-like Special Operations Group. The team is seen responding to violent incidents such as carjackings, suicides and armed offences. Rush focuses on the TR officers, their intelligence officer, Leon Broznic and Superindendent Kerry Vincent, head of the TR administration. It explores both the working and personal lives of the team

Patiently waiting for the 2nd installment of Horizon An American Saga.
By all accounts the first movie hardly went down a storm for the majority out there, but you need to bear in mind if Kevin intends to make 4 or 5 movies on the topic then the narrative will be extensive and spread over all of the films.
I hope it gets to see the light of day as it will be a must have for Western fans who like to engross into the era :_B) :_pirate

I thought it was great in my opinion. Costner just knows how to make Westerns entertaining & not boring.:_B)

Good One 2024. I thought it was really very interesting for a boring movie. It's basically a Father, Daughter & the Father's best Friend walking in the woods, camping & chatting to each other. Not much of a story but it was interesting how they interacted with each other. It was more like a Real-Life Camping trip that was filmed. Not much you can do with that but a good pass the time one time watch.

Gotta say this was a long and wonderful watch. The backstories and the buildup were nice. Yet, it felt like the backstories could have easily been made into different movies, introducing each character before the final events. It also sucks that despite a sequel potential, it won't see the light of the day anytime soon due to the reboot.
