| So Microsoft in Their Great Wisdom Thought it Would B a Great Idea to Force People 2 Use a Microsoft Account During the Installation Process Now this is very frustrating to a lot of people who just want to use a Local Account and NOT a Microsoft Account So how do we bypass the Microsoft Account during the installation of Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro --- Ok then,,,Lets get started. 1 ). Disconnect from the internet ( Turn Your Wi-Fi Off ), and start the install process. 2 ). Once you are at the login section of the setup screen press the Shift + F10 keys to open the command prompt. 3 ). @ the command prompt window Type: OOBEBYPASSNRO and hit the enter key. The command window will close and do its thing and take you back to the login process ( Wait 4 It ) 4 ). Now at ( Let's connect you to a network ) screen make sure none of your Wi-Fi connections are ticked ( Checked ). 5 ). Click on "I don't have internet" and at next screen click on "Continue with limited setup. 6 ). Great, Izn't this fun ? OK, you are almost there,,,,Continue with the rest of the installation screens. 7 ). Your Done >>> Now turn your Wi-Fi back on and go into your settings and look for any new updates. | This is a great workaround for those who prefer a local account during Windows 11 installation! I've been in the same boat, not wanting to be forced into a Microsoft account. Thanks for sharing these steps; it's sure to help others who feel the same way. Also, here's a guide on how to get the Windows key. I hope you find it handy!
