| Ok..........Are you interested in some quality portable software that is never on the torrents? This is classy stuff, made by this lone Italian guy who is a portable 'virtual machine software' genius. Now, not every program will run on every OS known to man, but most will work well on windows. And here's the juicy sweetness of it all......No Malware! Now I can't 100% declare that in stone, but I have been checking [malwarebytes Premium] his portables and using his portables with no [that is - no sign at all] of malware for about 10 years. He is [the Italian guy], a purest, and hates malware etc. So, I'll give you some details and stuff, check it out [virus test it yourself if you like] - there will be 'suspicious processes' that you'll have to allow in your AV software, but that is fair as this software is out of this world [cleverly constructed] - but in my opinion - Clean : ) [*Nevertheless, always use a strong ad-blocker (like ublock origin), while traversing his (or any such) website]. So on to the other pros + cons of portables.....Well, they can be installed on your memory stick [flash-drive] OR in a folder somewhere on your computer as well. Also, normally leased software i.e. year to year subscriptions : ( can now be made into 'forever' type programs : ) They are a little slower than software that is installed on the (C : ) Local Disk, but only a second or two, and mainly at startup. Once they're off and running, speed is fine. Also, Unless the program is IDM or Google earth [i.e. a program whose total function is to connect to the internet to work], ALWAYS block outgoing network packets with your firewall, or these portables may well 'break' : ( .....i.e.call the mothership. Also, you'll have to direct download these portables as 'multi rar files', 1 to 5 Rar's sometimes. A slight annoyance, but well worth it, I reckon. There is a ton of exciting super professional [$$$$] creative softwares to make and edit films, music, art, books, designs, educational instructional packages, computer software, the list isn't endless, but there's a lot there..........(and archives : ) So enough with the waffling from me..... and on with some screenshots and details etc..... Well I'm not posting any direct links to the site as I believe this is against TGx policy, but if you have the nous, you'll be able to orient yourself correctly to his portables site.
