| I was ding some maintenance on my media library, which is a Plex server running on a Raspberry Pi 3+. For the second time, I lost somwehere north of 7 TB worth of audiobooks, TV series, and movie downloads. The external USB hard drive got completely borked. To the point that I can't even figure out what happened and the mount points for BOTH external hard drives are now connecting to final destinations on the pi user desktop, rather than the locations that I configured in the /etc/fstab. At this point, I'm done with RasPi. I'm now saving up to get an Intel NUC to replace it with, so that I can have the added bonus of downloading and playing some of my Steam games that no longer function under 64 bit macOS . Maybe I'll keep the RasPi and configure it for torrenting from my private trackers and using the NUC for VPN stuff. But damn, I'm annoyed about my loss of media. AGAIN. | |
