| How Come I Cant Seed .. Were going to start with a little tutorial on how to get your client seeding since it seems to be a issue for a few.. We can start with your client ill be using qbit as the example. 1st thing w will look at is your ports on the client. As you see from the picutre i have this one set, do not use a random port everytime also use port fowarding set it to 1 port, I prefer to use X-box ports, as there is a lot of data expected to be transfered on those ports .... ""the example i used is not a good idea as it may conflict with a app"" Also since your seeding make sure , Dht,Pex, and Local peer discovery is turned on, this way more users see you Now lets look into your Modem.. A lot of people have asked how the hell to i access my modem well this is how .... 192.168.100.1/cgi-bin/status_cgi Paste that in your browser and click.. You can not have your vpn on while doing this it wont see you as the proper user ... Once there click on Configuration this will take you to the log in page .. Now depending on your modem one of these should work there the default passwords to modems and work on almost everyone ... Motorola 6580: admin - motorola Arris 860A: admin - password Arris 862G : admin - password Ubee DVW3201B: user - user Arris TG852: admin - password Thomson DW875: username not required - admin Thomson DWG855: username not required - admin Ubee DDW365: user - user Ubee DDW3611: user - user Ubee U10C022: user - user If you have changed your password and can not remember it all modems have this little hole a paper clip can fit into by pressing this it will reset your modem and password to default ... Now that your logged in, click on the firewall tab, then go to your Port Triggers tab,, as seen in the picture below. As you see there are 2 ports in the example i used, Click on the add button and add the disered ports and name them something other then torrent, "Dont be that guy" inbound and outbound ports one number apart, and yes one port is all you need notice the starting port is the same as the one in the client .. Once you have that figured out we'll move on to your firewall. in some cases it is as simple as clicking no to allow it though firewall Your firewall in wondows should look like this. If you use a alternate firewall allow the client through it accordingly... The only thing i can say if this does not work is a lot of Vpn's no longer allow port fowarding, Test 1st with vpn off then turn it on an try again .... https://www.whatsmyip.org/port-scanner/ The custom test should show you if the port is open or not | |

| Another useful site to test open ports https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ Can be used to test your vpn ip and ports if you're browsing from a different device and torrenting on another. | |
