Midway is a magnificent movie about the 1942 naval and aerial battle that blocked further Japanese aggression in the Pacific. Many reviewers have been negative because the film is not cynical or angst-ridden or politically correct. At one point, an emotionally distraught airman confesses his unreadiness for combat. He’s curtly told he can’t be spared so saddle up. This sense of duty common to the WWII generation is strange territory to many today. Read more... Source

Both are great films, but more work of fiction than actual biography, I believe. Mostly made for you to grasp what these two legends were like. Still, a great watch nevertheless.

Just started to watch Messiah but only seen the first episode but still it has me hooked for now :) The story is a round a man who peeps believe has the power to make miracles happen, a divine person from God who people believe can change the world when actually its the people themselves that can change it :) or maybe he is just a very good con artist :) and of course a CIA agent on his trail to determine if he is in fact divine or not :)

ooh and for those that would like to watch we have some nice copies for peeps to download here at TG :) xx

Last night saw the wife and I watching Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Enjoyed the first one and wasn't disappointed with the follow up, another very colourful movie :)

Just finished watching Terminator: Dark Fate.

Being a Terminator fan I thoroughly enjoyed this, fantastic special effects, but story line not far off the original.

Have just finished watching 1917..... not on the same par as Midway but a good movie nonetheless. The movie being shot to look as if it's one continuous take was well done.
