There is more scientific fact in this movie than in the whole of the man-made climate change argument |
What the heil are you on about? We produce more than we use and every single product we create leaves behind waste material. That waste material is stored in mountains of garbage. It's a net loss of raw resources on a global scale and you seriously believe that this has no effect on the climate? It is the climate. Dumb |
all it does it speed up the inevitabl process of the world being a big ball of fire again ok so we have 1.6 million years left instead of 3.7 million. people should be way way less worried about that then running out of water since they have you so distracted with b/s 1/2 your natural water supply has been contaminated |
Yep, fresh water is the next resource we will be fighting over 'Waterworld' wasn't fiction |
The availability of fresh water has everything to do with climate change. With the disappearing of glaciers, rivers and lakes will grow smaller, ground water will diminish. |
how does solid state water becoming liquid state water mean less usable water? |
Because most meltwater flows to the sea or ocean. Meaning less fresh water. |
Made by Sam Raimi? Millions of years in the past on Earth? Do Deadites inhabit dinosaurs? Is Evil ultimately reptilian? If so, beware the Lizard People! |
So Adam Driver plays a "alien" who know the distance in km. In France the metric system had entered in 1799, so we must be ALL alien? |
Couldn't figure out why the Intergalactic Position Coordinates were only an eight-digit number |
It's a Sci-Fi movie. It's not supposed to make sense or be realistic. Science Fiction means it can't happen. That's what great about movies is there infinite possibilities in them but need somebody would a wild imagination. |
A good enjoyable movie if you dont try to look into it too far with stupid what some think are facts ie Moonie1976 and what was "overlooked" etc, its good entertainment. Who cares when CGI kicks in. Blue screen etc etc, unfortunately a planet may not have been availabe to film on and was probably hard to get hold of some Dinasours. |
We already watched some of this on IMAXUHDCAM but saved the rest for a decent rip Thnx |
With not many changes this could have been much, much better... Such a turn-off when the producers assume the audience is brainless. Like: don't tell me this is real Earth if you are going for "dinosaur inspired" monsters |
What makes you think a brain is required to enjoy this movie Didn't you leave your brain at the picture house door |
The very female-sounding Zoic ship voice is un-credited but according to IMDB it is played by someone called 'Brian Dare' who lks every inch a MAN |
Trey Parker and Matt Stone look every bit adult, yet their voices sound like little children. Audio, like video, can be manipulated, you know. It's 2023. |
Unlike most movies of this genre this gets into the action pretty fast No waiting around on the soppy back story to play out and when the action does get going the soppy back story doesn't get much screen time |
Slips into some really dodgy and obvious blue/green screen, CGI at 1:21:35 Make you wonder how much more of the movie is blue/green screen, CGI |
Very little blue/green screen, CGI, in fact Most of the movie was filmed on location on the planet Cerellus |
Thank you, looks good and Adam Driver starring and Sam Raimi producer :) |
Because of the stupid intro at IMDB, folks tend to think that the main characters are human and travelled back in time, it is not like that they are aliens from different planets crash-landed on Earth during the Jurassic period, in Scifi being a humanoid does not make you earthling by default |
Thanks for this comment. I wasn't going to bother, but now it sounds interesting. |
Right. And if he's an alien, how does he "realize it's Earth 65 million years ago"? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever at all. |
it's not earth they landed on, those creatures found in the movie never lived in the pre historic times. Skull Island excluded. |
