Amin, an aspiring screenwriter and photographer, returns to his hometown, a fishing village in the south of France, after living a year in Paris. The summer lights of the Mediterranean coast guide his quest for love, as he hopes to live a passionate romance like in the movies. Amin ha lasciato gli studi di medicina per scrivere il suo film. Ma è estate, ci penserà domani. Lasciata Parigi per le spiagge del Mediterraneo, torna a casa e agli amici di sempre. Torna da Ophélie, compagna di giochi che non smette di guardare e fotografare. Ophélie che vuole sposare Clément ma fa l'amore con Toni, tombeur de femme incallito. A due passi dal mare, Amin flirta con Charlotte e Céline, inaugurando un'estate di giochi d'acqua e di promesse appese in cui le azioni restano senza conseguenze.
