The main objective of this book is the introduction of recent innovations and current trends of photonics and electronics along with advanced device applications. In the modern day context, electronics and photonics have together shaped up to be the two interdependent pillars of smart and sustainable technological advancement. The book is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the recent and cutting-edge research powered by photonics. Within photonics, green photonics is tremendously attractive for research as it aims to create photonics technologies capable of generating renewable energy, reducing pollution, and conserving energy. On this theme, the readers will gain insights into dynamic solar arrays for harnessing adaptive energy solutions. Low-cost counter electrodes for increased efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells have been studied.
The second part of the book will focus on the recent and cutting-edge research in electronics. A diverse set of topics has been discussed in the context of recent advances. Big Data, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications are revolutionizing the models, methods, and practices of electronics.
