Eye For An Eye got hooked on the anti-mainstream ethics of the independent scene many years ago and they don't really care whether the underground is still fashionable or not, but they consistently follow their own path. Their fifth album "Cisza" is not only an example of a certain, far from doctrinaire, but nevertheless ideological determination. It is also a testimony to purely musical development. Even within the seemingly narrow hardcore/punk style (the joke that EFAE is something "between Slayer and Post Regiment" seems to still be relevant) you can be more and more perfect. "Cisza" is simply great punk rock songs. Catchy enough to seduce many, not only hardcore/punk, ears, modern enough not to be struck by the Jarocin veterans. Eye For An Eye look more to the future than the past and apart from passion, ardour, intelligence, catchiness, intriguing lyrics, this may be the greatest advantage of this album and this band, which is not without reason one of the most popular, but above all respected bands of the Polish hardcore/punk scene.
