wow... guess it's not okay to be white for Disney anymore - there goes the money.. lolz! |
That reminds me, I need to buy toilet paper when I go to town later today. |
Just remembered I need to give my toilet a good scrub after seeing this pop up also! Thanks for the reminder Dissney! |
Yeez, that whatever it is on the cover looks creepy as Hell! Even Baby Yoda looks scary, isn't it supposed to be aimed at very young ones? |
Ohhhhhh, lawd. This legitimizes every fear the Starwars fanboys had when Disney bought the franchise. Oh well! |
Huh? 1) this is season 2, you're a little late for complaints. 2) it's absolutely fine for them to have a pre-school show, Marvel and DC have had them for a long time. You aren't the target audience, unless you're somehow a child. |
@Eraser9651 - Since when was there a time limit on having an opinion about anything? And then you give YOUR opinion on the show in the same comment? Yep, that's the typical creepy double-standard we've come to expect from you people Have an upvote 2844 |
@Eraser9651 - Tells 2844 it's too late for an opinion on the show but then gives HIS opinion of the show? Double-standard much? |
How? What fears, that they would make a children's show based on movies made for children? |
This shows how little Disney cares about the Star Wars legacy and all over us fans. I haven't seen it yet myself, but I'm going out on a limb here by guessing that Yoda, wasn't a kid like some 500 years ago or something, seeing as how he died at 900. Yeah, I didn't quite do the math here, but it should be several hundred years ago, and it doesn't make much sense, well, any of these shows or movies that depict the main characters as children. It's like looking at Harry Potter in reverse. It did start out as fun and games, with might and magic, ended in bloodshed with some horror elements. It sort of took the fun out of seeing it again knowing what fate destiny had in store for them. Makes me think of that, albeit a so-so movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) which felt somewhat pointless given what happened in Ep VII. It did give some insight into how Solo & Chewie met and a few other things, but still... Knowing what happened to Solo... I had hopes when seeing VII that he'd pop up alive somehow, but no. Then Luke, then Leia... Ahh... Sure, restored things, for a bit, then Disney stirs up things again... |
Given that we know about the near total massacre of Jedi in the upcoming purge, isn't it just a bit creepy to make a show for children where most of the characters are destined for horrible violent deaths? |
Am I really the only one who finds it disturbing that they created a children's show whose main characters are pretty much destined to suffer horrible violent deaths? |
The series finale/RotS crossover where they all get slaughtered is the only way you could get me to watch this. |
If this show is supposed to take place 200 years before The Phantom Menace then most characters would just have died of old age before then. |
