Plot:
As a result of an arctic nuclear test, a carnivorous dinosaur thaws out and starts making its way down the east coast of North America. Professor Tom Nesbitt, only witness to the beast's existence, is not believed, even when he identifies it as a "rhedosaurus" to paleontologist Thurgood Elson. All doubts disappear, however, when Elson is swallowed whole during an oceanic bathysphere excursion to search for the creature. Soon thereafter the rhedosaurus emerges from the sea and lays waste to Manhattan Island until Nesbitt comes up with a plan to try to stop the seemingly indestructible beast.

| I will have to compare the audio. How do you convert 1 or 2 channel audio to 5.1? How do you know where to direct the music and sound effects etc. |

| Selected sounds cannot be directed. You can fill in all channels using appropriate treatments. Compare and tell me if you hear a difference. Remember, this is still audio 1.0. |

| I see.... I will compare the 2 formats when I get a chance and let you know if I can hear a difference. I would think though that people that have audio systems like my Yamaha cx5100 have upconverting options already. |

| I don't know how the up-conversion works on your equipment, but I modify the centre channel differently, the subwoofer differently, the front and rear channels differently, respectively. It modifies the bass and treble, manipulates the bass and volume. It's not just normal channel duplication. |
