In 1976, CBS TV network launched ‘The Jacksons’, a variety show featuring the Jackson family with Michael Jackson as the lead performer. Although the show was popular with the public, Michael was not enthusiastic about doing the show and it ended after only 12 episodes. Because of numerous copyrights held on different songs used through-out the series, the show has never been syndicated or released on home media.
