Star Trek: Discombobulation. To boldly cry and randomly fly around looking for the lost plot, encountering new species of befuddlement. |
This is a reply to LiberalLesbo. When Discovery was supposed to have taken place it was a little over a hundred years before TNG. Maybe the Starfleet officers grew to be more refined in the later years. |
I've been thoroughly enjoying Discovery and pretty much all the Treks... with the notable exception of the musical Strange New Worlds episode, and a rather unimpressive Patrick Stewart in some of the Picard episodes. This is another great episode in Discovery's last season (that's a damn shame too), with high quality A/V in both this release and the 1080p "SuccessfulCrab" torrent. Thank you so much TGxTV Much appreciated |
It's certainly a shame that the last season wasn't earlier, say season 2, after which the show went completely off the rails. |
Discovery will be, actually is, a bane on the Star Trek legacy - I wouldn't be surprised they pull it from canon later down the road. They're going to blame the series as a temporal off-shoot or something to justify the bad acting, horrendous character development, and mediocrity overall.. Lowest rated Star Trek ever |
I'd disagree (obviously given what I said above). I'm good with the acting, although Blu del Barrio seems a bit inconsistent as Adira, and I've enjoyed the storylines. About the only thing I'm not keen on on is the swearing. Picard muttered the occasional "Merde!" Why is swearing now OK for Starfleet officers? |
