Grazie alla vicinanza dei rispettivi terrazzi, due sconosciuti alle prese con la propria attività di giardinaggio incominciano a intessere un dialogo profondo, che li aiuta ad alleviare il dolore per qualcosa di grave, un segreto, che ognuno dei due cerca di nascondere a se stesso e a chi gli sta vicino. In quella sorta di limbo sospeso tra la terra e il cielo, lontano dalla velocità della città, Pietro ed Eleonora si insegnano a vicenda a seguire il proprio cuore, a credere ancora nella “possibilità di essere felici”, prima che le loro strade si separino di nuovo.
