Aquaman (2018) 2160p, Ai-Enhanced from a quality 2160p Bluray REMUX source. I then increased the framerate to 60fps via SVP 4 PRO + TensorRT RIFE 4.14v2.
Finally discovered how to retain all the black and color detail with HDR films after converting to 60fps :D

This was not filmed in HFR, it is encoded with high-quality motion interpolation with Real-Time Intermediate Flow Estimation (RIFE). If you HATE motion interpolation for example, 60fps (smooth motion), then please do us all a favor and hit the back button, because this isn't for you....
If you LOVE smooth motion, then you are in for a treat! :D
RIFE doesn't handle the heavy rainfall very well at the beginning of the film. But it isn't too bad IMO. Hope you enjoy!

Today I upgraded my setup and added a budget rtx3060 so I can now do full 4k60 and the difference is miles apart. I can now see all the issues others stated with the soap opera effect and the strange scene to scene stretching. Also the colors look really over bright ??? |

If so its natural. Maybe not perfect in my encodes as they are interpolated. But isn't too bad, IMO. Do you have dropped frames? |

| You do realize AFR (Auto Frame Rate) makes this artifactining AI 60 shitshow pointless. Modern TV's and playback devices use AFR so viewing cinema at proper 24 is no longer an issue for screens, interpolation is an issue of the past or for people with old tech. This is probably why those complaining it looks bad on high end new equipment will be pointing it out and most likely those who like it are probably using older screens or playback devices using true motion smoothing. All you're doing is creating duplicate frames (24 to 60) with weird artifacts resulting in poor scene transitions and then asking AI to smooth it out which in still images and or slow paced moment it looks ok but as soon as things speed up or scenes switch back and forth fast then it results in a shitshow of over compensating smoothing and artifacts. This is created by you trascoding 24 frames to 60 and you only and does not exist in the original 24 frame sources. |
