Congrats... you did it! You've added HDR! But, how though? Clearly not by Ai's software, right? But it seems as, though, DoVi metadata wasn't transcoded or mediainfo is just not tabulating that data. |
It isn't DV but it turned out great. It was a process, took 3 encodes total. Ai did help me though, through copilot ;). I used a combination of software. Started with Topaz Video Ai, then, through SVP 4 PRO, and from there I added HDR metadata from the original bluray. Then encoded w/shutter encoder to HDR10 |
Could not fit everything in the last post. The final step was re-adding HDR metadata through MKVToolNix.(Some metadata was lost through each process; the key was putting it all back in place) I used Ai to translate the chromaticity coordinates and white color coordinates into data I could input into MKVToolNix. |
There is Dolby version release of this movie. I hope you will upload the same in AI upscaled DV with 24 fps just like how you did for 2012. Cheers. |
