 | It's a specific variation of HDR - Hybrid Log Gamma. It's mostly used by the BBC to show HDR content on capable TVs, but also to not be too dim on non-HDR TVs. It's a bit rubbish if you're watching on a PC, though, as the brightness values are all over the place. It's possible to watch, but a lot of detail gets lost. |

| Actually, just had a look, and if using MPC-BE 1.69 and above, the MPC Renderer now displays HLG correctly (or at least, doesn't blind the viewer anymore). |
