Description
wide
Ai upscaled from quality 1080p source, then increased framerate to 60fps via TensorRT Rife v4.9.

TensorRT RIFE motion interpolation is a combination of TensorRT and RIFE that enables real-time video frame interpolation with high quality. It is a TensorRT plugin for Vapoursynth, a video processing framework, that can be used for both transcoding and real-time playback modes. The interpolation quality, performance, and memory usage are determined by the AI model used. Model 4.6 provides higher quality but is slower than model 4.4, which requires less memory.

The frame rate of a film is the number of still images that are displayed per second to create the illusion of motion. The higher the frame rate, the smoother the playback, and the more realistic the motion appears. Here are some differences between 24, 30, 48, 60, and 90 FPS in movies:

24 FPS: This is the standard frame rate for movies. It is good for creating a cinematic experience and is not suitable for gaming. However, it can appear choppy during fast-paced action scenes.

30 FPS: This frame rate is commonly used in television broadcasts and is suitable for creating a smooth and natural-looking video.

48 FPS: This frame rate is used in some movies to create a more immersive and realistic experience. It provides smoother playback and is ideal for action-packed scenes.

60 FPS: This is the standard frame rate for video playback and has been the standard for more than 30 years. It provides a smooth and comfortable viewing experience.

90 FPS: This frame rate is not commonly used in movies or television. It is mostly used in gaming to provide a more immersive experience.

Please note that higher frame rates require more processing power and storage space. Also, the choice of frame rate depends on the type of content and the desired viewing experience.

avatar@guest-1532 dodge frame rate? 23.6 is hand breaks frame rate not 60.? I'm sorry but your choice of words does make sense. There is no stuttering, only occasional artifacts/glitches in the texture mostly during fast panning scenes due to motion interpolation. I prefer occasional artifact/glitches over choppy and jagged 24fps motion.

avatarI am testing new TensorRT Rife models in my latest uploads and have some sample videos of different models to check out in my Fly Away Home 1996 torrent.

avatarPersonal opinion, but this does not look right at 60 fps. The image is great, but it doesn't look like a movie, it looks like TV. :_:(

avatarAgreed, not everything needs to be a soap opera. Directors choose their frame rate intentionally.

avatarI put it against a 26gig 1080p and it looked WICKED clear as day and no grain at all but I had to delet it because the was glitches on the picture because of the dodge frame rate. So far 6 films have all stuttered because of the dodge frame rate so I've stopped getting his stuff . 23.6 is hand breaks frame rate not 60.

avatarUnbelievable. 60fps for cinema is a crime. Encoders SHOULD NOT be making creative changes to films, it's extremely offensive. This should be removed, it looks absolutely awful. signed, a cinematographer.
