avatarI'm thinking that the "leaked" version is from the Paramount+ stream, which seems to be on Fridays, a few days before it is on CBS. It's advertised as being on Paramount+ before broadcast TV. I could be wrong.

I also have the impression that it should be easier to get the subtitles / closed captioning from the stream, as opposed to broadcast TV. Again, I'm probably wrong. It is nice when the uploaders take the trouble to get the subtitles, by whatever feat of electronic magic, and then include their existence in the description. From my perspective, whether or not there are selectable subtitles is more important than the color space and chroma subsampling, especially on shows with people from a variety of countries all divided by their pronunciation and usage of a common language (English). This show is pretty good about smoothing over the differences (speaking slower, using international pronunciation somewhat flavored by Aussie or American) but there were still a few cases in the first episode where phrases slipped through, to be clarified only by subtitles. (And it's not just the Australian actors...)

avatarStrike me rotten! Did you mean subs for the Aussieisms? Sadly the slang they're using is about 70 years out of date. I personally don't know anyone who speaks like that.

avatarUnlike that weird leaked version of this episode...
Confirming the volume is good but no subtitles built in.
