 | I fail to understand the adoration people have for this man. Yes, he stood-up to Kruschev and sent NASA down the path that led us to the Moon but he also took us from the role of a few combat advisors to bearing the brunt of all-out combat in Vietnam and set us up to lose thousands of American lives in the process of losing the war. He sent a woefully-unprepared bunch of dissidents to invade a foreign nation (Cuba) and then bailed on them when our help was most needed, sending them all to death or imprisonment. He made pretty speeches but did little of good substance in office. The "Cult of the Kennedys" defies all logic. Socialists, philanderers, drunks - America would've been far better off without the entire clan. |

 | The liberal media love to beatify Kennedy describing him as a 'good family man', 'eloquent, inspiring speaker', 'war hero' etc. Most of what you have stated is detailed in The Dark Side of Camelot by Seymour M. Hersh - a rather damning account of the Kennedy's behaviour in the White House. |

Bloom also intervened with the Dallas Police Department to allow the press to film Oswald’s transfer. B'nai B'rith, was ALSO implicated in the Lincoln assassination. |

| Strange isn't it how history is turned to suit. America went into Vietnam in 1965 and it was the Ike's administration who came up with the idea to overthrow Castro with the bay of pigs. This is not to say that the whole thing was a farce but it wasn't Kennedy or is administration. |

| When he entered office there were about 700 American advisors in Vietnam. At the time of his death there were 16,000. Ike came up with the Bay of Pigs idea but Kennedy implemented it and Kennedy then abandoned them. It absolutely WAS his administration. |
