Young Eric has been bitten by a werewolf. However, he's not particularly thrilled by this turn of affairs and wishes to escape his curse. To do so, he must find and kill the founder of his particular werewolf clan. The series traces his efforts to (A) track down the founder; (B) keep from hurting innocent lives due to his lycanthropy; and (C) stay one step ahead of folks who wish to kill him due to his werewolf nature.

Werewolf is the story of Eric Cord, (John J. York) a college student. One fateful night, his best friend Ted reveals something to him that will change his life forever - Ted is a werewolf. At first Eric refuses to believe but has no choice when Ted transforms into the werewolf and Eric must shoot him in self-defense... but not before being bitten. Now, bearing the curse of the werewolf himself, Eric must track down the progenitor of his line, a man named Janos Skorzeny, (Chuck Connors) and kill him. Only then can he be free of his curse... However, while he tracks down Skorzeny he is also hunted himself by "Alamo Joe" Rogan, (Lance LeGault) a bounty hunter who knows what Eric truly is.

This title was not available in the US because no one was willing to pay the royalties for several songs featured in the show namely Mike & the Mechanics - Silent Running which appeared in the pilot episode during the bar scene. So it was released in France under the title La Malédiction du Loup-Garou It came with 6 DVD's and a kewl booklet with some still photos from the set. I ripped the French language audio out for size which makes English the default audio track. ***No subs included.

***Titles are in English with the exception of 2 or 3 episodes which display in French, but all audio is English.

avatarSorry, I forgot to mention all of the extra files are from my emby server so if you are running emby you should be able to drop this folder in no hassles. I think the metadata works with other server like Plex, etc. Enjoy.

avatarThough I appreciate the upload, it needs to be said this is NOT a true commercial grade DVD. While you may have ripped it from a French DVD set, that set was very obviously sourced from TV rips. Most likely this came from old boot legs sets that used to make the rounds at conventions and such. Episode 10 is a clear example of the quality. I have compared this rip from the other one I have and some of the eps with the Chiller TV logos look much better than this one. Some of these eps though do look better then then what I already had. I'll be comparing each ep of the season individually and keeping the better of the 2 eps. Hopefully one day a REAL remastered set will come out. Until then I'll have just keep eps from different sources.
