Suppose we, the non-straights, would react like you do on EVERY movie and series that does not have any lgbtqia+ in it. Would you think that's normal? And yet we share this same planet, so why would we not be present in any movie or series? We were always around and we always will be around and when you don't want to interact with us: fine, your choice. But don't pretend we have no right to exist or at the very least be visible. |
New user SuperFUPA (on 2023-10-11 13:59:58) asked: Ignorant of what? Can you clarify what the commentators don't know? Well, OK, let's touch on one or two of the highlights of the ignorance on display. Guests -3281 and -2226 (to be fair, they may be the same person), seem to be unable to check an online dictionary for the common definition of the term "phobia" or the extension "homophobia" (see above). The term "... evolutionarily quite rational to exclude abnormalities" does not take into account that evolution has produced homosexuality in a multitude of species (not just Homo sapiens), and it is thus a perfectly natural existential state; see... Roughgarden, J. (2017). Homosexuality and evolution: A critical appraisal. In On Human Nature: Biology, Psychology, Ethics, Politics, and Religion, ed. M. Tibayrenc and F. J. Ayala, pp. 495–516. New York: Academic Press. Only one reference cited due to space restrictions, further references are available upon request. The term "forced" in relation to an imagined "agenda" is also used. Nobody is "forcing" anyone to watch a movie, much less go to the effort of downloading it to watch it. If you don't want to watch, don't; pretty simple really. And the only "agenda" that I believe I am witnessing, is one that continuously seeks to diminish fellow Homo sapiens on the basis of their sexuality, by people who are most definitely irrationally averse to homosexuals and/or homosexuality (i.e., fitting the definition of homophobic), and ignorant of some key facts (see above). Does that help you SuperFUPA my little munchkin? |
I don't really care lol, but I wish you luck winning the hearts and minds of everyone else that doesn't care about gay rom coms. One day this genre will find success in theatres and everyone will know your stories. |
And every time again. But ignorance is not so much the problem; intolerance is. |
Ignorant of what? Can you clarify what the commentators don't know? |
The plot is just daft enough to be entertaining - anytime you can work "Twink" into the narrative it's gotta be worth a watch. Thanks for the U/Load! Now we wait for the homophobes to arrive...... |
haha theyve already arrived. If gay isnt for you then move on. I see soo many comments like this on gay cinema its ridiculous. Imma start going on straight romance movies and be like TOO STRAIGHT |
Homophobia: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or gay people. Merriam-Webster Dictionary (2023-10-10). https://www[dot]merriam-webster[dot]com/dictionary/homophobia. We get you think you're big and macho and not afraid, the operative word here is "irrational". |
@LiberalLesbo We aren't scared of homos or gay people. And we don't care what they do in the bedroom with other consenting adults. We just don't want to watch it. |
Zachary Quinto starring in "Broken back by being ridden in the mountain" coming out in 2024. |
3281, are you being deliberately obtuse? See above, "homophobia/homophobic" does NOT just mean scared, it defines your irrational aversion. I don't want to watch sex scenes involving any man, but I don't discriminate, nor am I entirely averse to them if the story warrants; therein lies the homophobia. |
Phobia DOES exactly mean that. Just educate yourself. And it is evolutionarily quite rational to exclude abnormalities. We're all born with a set of genetic instructions. We needn't be aware of their consequences (purpose would be a personification) for them to work. |
Binary people amuse me because they only see in 1's and 0's the native Indians have recognized 8 genders since the before the advent of Europeans. Binary people were raised to believe they should only seek the opposite sex period. Most "Men" love watching lesbians thats ok but nothing else. Im 2S |
Guest-2226: Try reading the dictionary definition and what I posted before throwing your tantrum. See Merriam-Webster, "homophobia/homophobic" does not just mean scared, it also defines an irrational aversion. Irrational -- in this case -- being illustrated for me, by your irate self |
@Guest-3281 A) Nobody's making you watch it. B) This is a comedy, not a porno. We are the ones that have to watch straightos pretty much fucking gratuitously because "sex sells". It's not the other way around. |
I'm gay and rolled my eyes so fckn hard. I don't give a rat's booty about "LGBTQ43353637•'$√`62+|'•&•5•-arrrggggggggghhhhh" 🤯😵💫🥵 and whatever else is thrown into it. This movie was dumb. I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 |
I most def won’t DL to watch this. Not because of the overlying, surface LGBTQ+ theme which is a cover-up of the underlying fact that this is just a Rom-Com. Not into Rom-Com. Just like how I was going to comment on “It Lives Inside”, I’m not into horror. As a child and young adolescent I very much enjoyed horror, Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, and all variations including up to and including Space monsters, and into the Alien series, but I just don’t believe in the devil, witches, ghosts, demons, and whatever. So I’m not into horror either. Some seem skived out by the statement of a twink giving a happy ending. Well I sure wouldn’t mind a cute young twink giving me a happy ending right about now! To those unable or unwilling to own their phobias, with age hopefully comes wisdom and with wisdom one hopefully comes to understand that Aristotle’s two valued system of is or isn’t is wrong. Everything exists on a continuum of infinite values. Every value a point on another continuum. Those desperately holding on to a two valued system of gender expose their ignorance. Ignorance is merely the lack of knowledge or understand in a given field of study. You can learn. Before you throw your skirt over you head and run screaming from the room, remember if you get a little in your mouth it won’t change or convert you, well maybe it might. If all the variables in the world frighten you, please don’t try to think about the infinite universe. |
Will watch this one with the whole family on Christmas Eve The grand-folks will sure enjoy this one |
I agree that it's not for everyone, and you select the movies you want to see. However, the subject matter is primarily gay, but it is sensitive and impactful. It's about life and death and what the heck we do with the time we have left in life when we have a major issue in life that forces one's hand. It's a touching movie. |
dont care about the gay scenees truth is the movie was just dumb and plotless |
Back in the sixties there was not a lot of homosexual content in mass media. The word gay had not even yet been largely adopted. And outside of minor cultural island it was just not generally an acknowledged concern. Yet in The Naked Ape, Desmond Morris just casually remarked that bisexuality was the natural human condition, and this pretty much went unchallenged. In erudite circles it was a generally held perception that anyone who was critically obsessed with homosexuality was, what we called at the time, a "latent". That is, they had strong unconscious homosexual desire that they could not accept because of cultural conditioning of one type or another, so their automatic reaction was one of condemnation and all manner of projection. It was also beliieved to be quite normal for children and tweens to have minor homosexual explorations of their budding sexuality. And it was apparently statistically the norm according to psychological and sociological studies. In my own social circle, as teens, this was basically a non issue, and we were very busy scoring with "chicks" and pursuing sports and whatever adventures we could conjure. Whenever we interacted with someone who was obsessed with negative views of homosexuality and compulsively expressed negative views of homosexuality, like criticizing someone they didn't like as being a "fag": we considered them a latent, and really did want them around, because it was obviously a psychological problem, boring and just idiotic. How far we have come, in forgetting what every expression of denunciation actually entails. The poster boy would be that Evanglical dogmatic preacher in the Colorado mega-church that denounce the evils of homosexuality but was caught giving head in a road side rest men's room. Yep. . . there ya go. |
Ahhh deflection, inversion & the "culture" of critique. The old fallbacks of the eternal victim. It might work in a Hollywood movie plot but in real life we all really know what it actually is & why it really doesn't |
OH! PS As always, thank you TG. You have been and remain my go to torrent site. Sp shout to MiNX. Love your Goldilocks size up loads and always with subs. Sweet. |
Thanks for the upload! Looks really good and funny, but a little to gay for me. Good cast all around and the jokes in the trailer were pretty funny. The story looks good too. Hope this does well. |
Honest and informative posts are always welcome. Far too few on here, so thank you for yours. |
So, what is JUST THE RIGHT amount of GAY for you? At what point should someone else put their sexuality "on hold" for you to feel comfortable? What occurs in this film that you haven't even watched that is "Too Gay"? Can you tell me the metric you are using for "too Gay", "just Gay enough", and/or "not enough Gay"? |
You What The PorkChop Say's, I don't if your Gay Or Whatever want to be called as Long As You Don't Worship The Devil. Just Be Happy |
dude, that comment made no sense whatsoever |
