Rock star Pink Floyd is a tortured soul. Because of his childhood, he has always tried to make meaningful emotional connections to other living creatures. That childhood includes not having a male role model with his father having been killed in the war, his overprotective mother smothering him, and an oppressive school system quashing his natural creativity. Being a rock star, he is often wanted more because of what he is than who he is. The most recent failure in that true connection to someone or something else is his marriage, when on tour, he discovers that his wife back home is cheating on him. His response is to go in the opposite direction, by building a figurative wall around him to isolate himself from the rest of the world, but not before showing graphically his feelings on different gut levels. The question becomes if he or anyone else can do anything to tear down the wall in a meaningful way.

This movie was a difficult one!
The original Blu-ray, which was my source, had a grainy, noisy, soft and very dark! scenes. I actually uploaded a 4K version, under the same title, a little while ago, but I was so unhappy with it, that I took it off.
To produce this version, I have done the following:
- Processed the Blu-ray, using Ai to enhance, de-noise and do a general cleanup. The output was saved, uncompressed, for further processing ( about 300GB).
- It was processed one more time using Ai, only to upscale to 4K. Output was saved one more time, uncompressed, to make sure no quality was lost ( 500GB this time).
- Footage was processed for the third time, to adjust contrast, brightness and colour, including minor colour-correction. Output was slow encoded to HVEC x265.
- As a rule, I do not process audio! However, the audio on this movie has a wide dynamic range (CD+ range). It means, low-volume sections are very low, and loud sections, very loud. This was sending my TV speakers crazy! I had to keep turning volume up and down.
So I processed the sound and applied a little compression to the dynamic range. This makes watching the movie on a standard TV much easier. But fret not! I have included the original audio too, so if you want to route it to your home-cinema sound system, you can.
Hope you enjoy it.

 | It was encoded by another app. The Ai app does not do much colour correction, or contrast adjustment. If memory serves, I got the Ai app to enhance and upscale, to an uncompressed file. Then that output was fed into another app, to correct volour and contrast, the output now was compressed to h265. |

| Any person who lived through the 70s and 80s era of music knows it was the best and richest period in music. So, sometimes I personally spend some time enhancing short video clips I download from YouTube or already have in my library, and mix high-quality audio to these clips, trying to lip-synch video to audio by speeding or slowing the video. All I can say it is a hectic process, but you end up with 4 to 5 minutes of nice oldies but goldies music videos, that take you back to the best times of your life. But to perform what you did is crazy. I can imagine the time and work it took. So million thanks for that. By the way, I wrote this comment even before downloading the video, cause you deserve the praise whatever the outcome might be, though I am sure it will be by far better than what I had (VHS, DVD, then Blu-Ray). This should have been done by the production company, as many did before, upscaling even silly movies, whileneglecting this work-of-art. Thank you again. |

| Thank you. 1600 vertical? Technically, that's not a FULL TV panel 4K resolution stream (2160p). But it is a UW-4K resolution that's only for creators/gaming's monitors, so, unless the viewer(s) watch this feed only at their desk, on a wall panel/TV set, this torrent will render very huge top-&-bottom black bars. |
