The Justified Ancients of The Mu Mu featuring Disco 2000 were a short-lived experimental sample-based band that existed for approximately 90 minutes on the morning of December 17th, 2022.

Merging hip-hop and dance beats with a blend of infectuous silliness and cunning satire, the group nonetheless failed to achieve much in the way of international success, and sunk into obscurity.

THIS COLLECTION is intended to give a general but propulsive overview of the work of the short-lived band, which draws from all corners of commercial pop - everything from scott walker to stevie wonder to whitney houston to ABBA collide together on the dancefloor in an amalgam of very illegal - but catchy -  beats.
