Plot:
Oliver Queen and his father are lost at sea when their luxury yacht sinks, apparently in a storm. His father dies, but Oliver survives for five years on an uncharted island and eventually returns home. But he wasn't alone on the island where he learned not only how to fight and survive but also of his father's corruption and unscrupulous business dealings. He returns to civilization a changed man, determined to put things right. He disguises himself with the hood of one of his mysterious island mentors, arms himself with a bow and sets about hunting down the men and women who have corrupted his city.

 | Thanks! In case you are watching the arrowverse according to the timeline, this is the season the spin-offs start. Arrow S02E08 and E09 are the prequels to The Flash (with Barry Allen visiting before he becomes the Flash). Arrow S02E19 (introducing Caitlin and Cisco ) and Arrow S03E01 are both taking place during Flash S01E01. Flash S01E04 references the events of Arrow S02E19 with Felicity visiting while she is away during Arrow S03E04. That is also the first appearance of Snart who ends up a main character in Legends of Tomorrow. With that show starting after the "Heroes Join Forces" crossover event of Arrow S04E08 and The Flash S02E08. The Arrow S05 / Flash S03 /Legends S02 crossover also includes Supergirl S02. With Flash S02E18 and Supergirl S01E18 having been a crossover without Arrow. |
