The young John Fremont is an ambitious and aspiring officer and passionate adventurer.
His true story begins in 1839 when he and Kit Carson explore the largely undiscovered
western United States.
Fremont's expeditions are marked by adventures and lead him, including to California.
He is involved in the civil war, makes a trip to politics, falls in love with the
immortal, comes to great wealth, suffers severe fatalities, performs incredible deeds
and realizes his dream to expand America to the west.
