How long is this w.nker going to milk it out for money that he has been bich slapped by a dude? |
Guest-3666 Check facts! Up until this show he hadn't spoken publicly about the incident not one time anywhere. I can't stand an uninformed loud mouth and I'm not even a fan! |
Ummmm....He hasn't said much about that incident since it happened so how did you come to the conclusion that HE is the one milking it? |
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Ive always enjoyed Chris Rock and his perspective. He covered a lot of ground and no doubt a response to Will and Jayda has been long anticipated and well delivered. Bravo to Chris Rock for responding with wit and intelligence focused and directed outrage, standing up for himself and honouring his parents and how they raised him. |
What I saw, was an audience that had to be shocked into being reminded of what no holds barred comedy is like. He was no different than before, but his audience was. Rock usually had his people in stitches but now people were just waiting for the next offensive phrase or comment so they can just be silent. Rocks old style jokes full of truth and stereotype, fell flat. They were great jokes but the audience is already 50% woke and you can tell. People were afraid to laugh at certain jokes. They knew they were being filmed and they all felt the judgement of the world through the recording lens. This is bad. Rock changed nothing and even doubled down on his style. He made it clear that blacks are more racist than whites. Just bring a white girl home to mamma and find out.... So that didnt sit well with the woke crowd either. After all this time, it seems Rock finally starts to see how ridiculous the country has gotten. Did not stop him from praising Biden and bashing Trump though. Did not stop him from abandoning his liberal socialist lying party or the agenda. When it comes to politics, hes still a clown. Good show though. Up until the little tantrum at the end with the mic drop, as if he ended the show with a profound moment. Dont fight in front of white people. Yeah....right. You already said the real reason before, little man....Will was twice your size and playing Ali in a movie. You were NEVER going to fight. |
The audience don't want to laugh at ANY jokes because you don't know if the footage will be edited to make it lk like you laughed at joke you weren't supposed to |
Will Smith laughed at the joke about GI Jane - I saw him laughing - until he chose to be insulted by it and take action |
Cant stand the bloke, wont even watch it on Netflix, Will Smith should have slapped harder |
100% garbage aside from the last few minutes he whined about Will Smith, which showed he's an absolute Girl.Left Wingers will thoroughly enjoy it. |
I was hoping he'd taken boxing lessons in his "off-season" and was born again hard. |
If you're suggesting that Will, Jada, and their kids (who don't warrant a mention) aren't "left wingers", you're delusional!! |
Now how did this get to be political? Sheesh, do you guys sleep at all at night? |
Not his BEST work. I've seen much better from him. However. I lived in Baltimore for 20 years and worked 1 block from that refurbished theater and it brought back so many memories seeing Les Miz, Mamma Mia, Hairspray, Avenue Q, Rent, Etc. Its a beautiful theater and I actually saw two people in the audience that I know. So that was cool. The use of the"N" word with the "A" just hurts me. Saying I'm allowed to use that word because we own it. No you don't. Some racist man made up that word and he owns it. He's dead! |
the N word was used long before it was used to refer to someone of color, its not the word thats offensive its the pretext its been used in all these years that makes it what it is Nr was the color of paint or clay or mud there skin color matched the paint or was close so it stuck ... |
Agatha Christie's 'Ten Little Niggers' (1949) is the definitive 'whodunnit'; that movie/story must have been 'ripped-off' Lord knows how many times |
WOW! A minus 4 for my comment that wasn't offensive to anyone. Just goes to show you people love misery! |
@ Superbikemike - Recent scholarship presumes that the word "N" word has always been a racist epithet thrust upon African Americans to demean Black social identity in the United States. But how is it that the word "N" word emerged as a slur more virulent than other racially coded language from the post-revolution? |
same books that say ben franklin discovered electricity or the civil war was about slavery common stupidity... actually if you must know indians used the word before we did to describe the color black we stole it from them, and from there its history has been used with racial overtones to describe a person of color. |
So the native Americams knew Latin back then? |
yes some did some also spoke spanish a lot of the tribes, where do you think a lot of them traveled to, mexico and south when cold up north and to the plains in the summer .. |
They could only start to speak Spanish after the Spaniards got there, right? The n-word comes from the Latin "negro", meaning black. Spanish is a Romance language evolved from Latin. This time the chicken really was there before the egg. Even when Flash doesn't get it. |
A=8, V=9. He's a bit racist - it only took less than 30 seconds before he used the "N" word - he told some guy in the audience "Sit down, ni**er". I find that term offensive. No-one should use that word, ever IMHO. One of his first jokes on the show is about how people say that words can't hurt you. And that those people have never been punched in the face! Funny But there's a difference between a slap and a punch, he wasn't punched. |
Your last comment sounds like a direct quote from Amber Heard on the stand during the trial!!!...the point is to understand the difference between physical violence and language in the broader sense of each term... |
Sadly that's not true and you know it. Was a decent enough stand-up with hit & miss jokes. Only really worth watching for the Jada/Will ending. |
