Oh man, what the fuck is going on here. Narrenwind has come a long way from being a cool black metal band heavily influenced by Bathory to what we hear today with their latest "There are nine keys to the realm of shadows".

First of all, applause for the Klimorh / Ævil duo for the proverbial mania fucked up for everything. Because to create such an album you need to have some balls, you don't know when your friends will write that someone's ass will burst and so on and so on. And as the fourth Narrenwind album shows - it's worth experimenting. I don't think there's much left of the old Narrenwind. And you know what? Very good. "There are nine keys to the kingdom of shadows" is an album that is such a huge unknown - what sound we will hear in a moment. Even after one audition, it can still surprise you.

Black metal is practically only a slightly outlined background here, the first violin is played by dark electronics, gloomy rock and flashbacks from your deliriums. Each piece is a separate story, with its own introduction, development and ending, lots of musical directions and its own character. Such an album will not be recorded by music amateurs, but by artists through big ART. Seriously, it's not a crony courtship, it's the very truth that, as you know, will set us free. This particular one frees us from musical stagnation and copying ourselves, it shows that you can have a very strong black metal background and not be afraid to explore foreign territories, which for most black metal hardliners will be terra incognita for centuries. And the whole thing ends with the best Kata cover you will ever hear.

A great album that most of you will probably dismiss as too weird at the outset. I torture him very often and I discover something new in him all the time. In addition, I recommend checking the visualizations for specific numbers, which can be checked, among others, on the band's  page. It will rip you off. And correctly.
