Nearly the whole movie takes place in a repurposed church in the woods of Massachusetts (maybe, I forget but it's up around that area). The church was built by Puritan ancestors and has changed hands several times, ending back up owned by a wealthy family who uses it for getaways, hiking, tree forts, bonfires and general mischief. To be honest, you don't really get a look inside the church, most of it's filmed outside or in the kitchen and dining room. |
Just watched this one and I am going to try and give some spoiler-free comments. You may want to turn around now. Okay, so this was definitely felt like more than a small indie movie production, but at the same time, did not give off the vibes that a larger production does. All of the acting felt above-par to pretty good in my uneducated opinion. The story line was a intentionally more than a little confusing, but ever after it ended, I realized I am not sure what exactly happened. It's not bad, but it felt long to me. For a movie centered around the same handful of people, at the same location, making obscure references to an event we-the-viewer can only imagine happened, it just felt too long for me. Nothing bad to say other than I wish I knew more on the subject matter and could therefor piece it together better. Thanks for the upload. |
Thank you for sharing, especially bc what's your saying is you wouldn't recommend it, based on the factors you named above! I respect what you had to say & for saving myself time, much appreciative of your honesty! Thx TGx for the excellent upload as always!:) |
ReadThis might want to reread that for what it exactly said. |
So, another budget saving story to happen inside a remote cabin? Also, the poster looks like a screenshot |
If I was a movie maker, I would film every single one of my movies in a remote cabin, even if it was supposed to have a city backdrop! |
