Watched the first 2 episodes today and wanted to toss out a few first impressions for anyone on the fence. This is a slow-burner who-dunnit, driven by the talented Travis Fimmel, who is his usual witty self. Might be a good watch if you like the who-dunnit genre, but there's very little in the way of action, fyi. I'll watch a few more episodes to see where it goes. Thanks for sharing the whole series, GalaxyTV. 🍷🍾 |
PS: Forgot to mention it in my comment above, but this is one of those series which, in my humble opinion, overdoes the flashback thing. i.e., they constantly flip back and forth from 1994 (when the murder took place) and 2019, where Fimmel investigates this is as an unsolved murder. If you don't mind that, go for it. |
When I saw that next to the title it said 2023 I thought wtf, right from now on everything is 2023, and I went to imdb to see the synopsis and I found out that Travis Fimmel is not a Viking, that he is from Australia it was double wtf! |
Loved him in The Baytown Outlaws and Finding Steve McQueen and even Die In A Gunfight, not even mentioning his more well-known handful of television series. |
