Quantum computing is a field in which advanced technologies like quantum communication, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) can be used to secure and speed up connectivity using quantum computers, quantum drones or quantum satellites. This book serve as a foundation for researchers and scientists in this field. Future technologies, such as quantum drone delivery systems, quicker internet and climate change mitigation, will need quantum information processing and quantum computation. This book deeply explores the importance of quantum computing in real-time applications. It may be used as a reference book for students in higher education, including undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers.
A quantum computer uses quantum circuits, which are made up of wires and quantum gates. Quantum logic gates are used to couple qubits for getting entangled states and long coherent states required for quantum information manipulation. The quantum information is moved around in the wires and then manipulated using quantum gates. The quantum information is then turned into classical information at the end for its utilization.
Unlike, and in contrast to the classical computers, the memory units for quantum computers have been one of the main concerns for scientists and engineers. Yet another point of concern has been the process of computation itself, due to the involvement of many quantum-based phenomena. A two-level quantum system can be considered for quantum computing, in analogy to the classical computation based on bits.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be described as the ability of a computer system or robot which is controlled by a computer to perform any kind of activity that is usually done by humans because it requires intelligence and judgment capacity. It can be said that Artificial Intelligence helps in smart decision making and provides ample opportunities to the user for research and data analysis. In general terms, AI also manages repetitive tasks that can cause boredom to humans.
