Grindcore / Death Metal band from Melbourne, Australia.
Codec WMA Lossless

Remains play extreme stadium grind with epic blasting assaults and windmilling rockin hooks to blow your fucken lids clean off.

'GRIND 'TIL DEATH' is the debut album of the Melbourne Death Metal/Grindcore powerhouse REMAINS, featuring members of highly reputed bands Blood Duster, Captain Cleanoff, The Kill, Fuck I’m Dead, King, The Day Everything Became Nothing.
Formed in 2019 and having played numerous shows in their homeland including international supports slots for legendary bands such as Obituary and Cattle Decapitation, REMAINS are slicing their name into the Australian metal scene, and soon in the rest of the world!

Remains are one of the newest names in the Australian extreme metal scene, however looking at their line up it features a series of grizzled veterans who have been stamping their names firmly into the international extreme metal scene for many years. Remains who have been busy laying the framework for the band with various live shows within their homeland are now set to release the debut record Grind ‘Til Death.

Mixed by Joe Haley (Psycroptic) and being released via Spikerot Records & Disdain Records, Remains describe the record as total stadium grinding mayhem. So what exactly does “stadium grind” sound like I hear you say, well in the case of Grind ‘Til Death it’s pretty old school sounding, from the get go you are just hit with an raw uncompromising collection of tracks which sound as if they crawled on their hands and knees from the pits of the late 80’s both in style and the very old school production ideas.

Eighteen tracks in total coming in at around the 35 minute mark which is packed full of wicked grinding guitars full of the brim with utterly dirty riffs and a touch of Swedish death metal sounding melody in places. The drums have that very true honest feel to them so if you're not too into having your head pounded into oblivion with a highly produced sonic battery then you will be alright with Remains. They still do the job however and offer that raw aggression as needed to give the songs a good kick of intensity without over taking the whole album.

Remains 100% bring the old school vibe on this release and what’s most important it’s an honest representation of the style. No flash, no gimmicks just straight up rawness which you can feel within each track. Each track of the 18 will rip your face off, with pure aggression and the overall sound gives that honest classic death grind feel it will be like stepping into a time capsule.
