 | Thanks for calling my that, but i'm not. I'm trying to split the flac-file with cue splitter v 2.0.8 but got error at line 5 invalid type found milliseconds with every cue-file. Also playing m3u with VLC sees it as 1 big song. Please advise. |

 | @rattus the artist formerly known as Guest-1446 (lol) & all interested parties - The cue files worked perfectly for me when i uploaded them. So I don't know what happened. It took me countless hours preparing the upload. I should have split them myself beforehand. I wanted to maintain the integrity of the files as I collected them. This wasn't my rip btw. With all this fuss I definitely won't be uploading anymore like it. And Guest-1445 sorry about calling you a troller, lol : ) Cheers ;) 88 |

| Definitely a problem with the cue files. I tried to split in Flacon and it said it wasn't a valid cue file. So I opened it in a hex editor and found a NUL character (00 in hex) between every other character. Removed all the NUL characters with Find/Replace and saved and the cue file worked fine. If you don't know hex editors, they are basically the same as text editors so fairly easy. Possibly some encoding glitch, maybe started as UTF-16 when it should be UTF-8; I haven't seen it before and took a while to discover. Thanks for your uploads btw vtwin88cube. Always good quality and no issues until this one. |

| As a last resort, you could use audacity to split the songs out of the .cue files. Takes work :) |

| I just registered here, the artist formerly known as Guest-1436. Tried the second CD in "Always" set and found the cue file also needed the line with milliseconds removed to work properly. So the cue files work with Cuetools but I've always used Flacon (on Linux) and this is the first cue file that hasn't worked. |
