C'è poi 10 Cloverfield Lane, interamente ambientato in una sorta di bunker durante quello che sembra essere un attacco alieno. Gioca molto più sulla tensione, la caratterizzazione dei personaggi e la paranoia. Ci sono comunque dei mostri che sono degli alieni (letteralmente).
L'ultimo è The Cloverflied Paradox ed è ambientato nel 2028 su di una stazione spaziale. Dopo varie peripezie, si scopre che il film racconta di universi paralleli e nel finale vediamo sbucare dall'atmosfere della Terra il Mostro del primo Cloverfield ma molto più grande e pericoloso.
The first Cloverfield is set in 2008 and sees the attack of a mysterious giant monster in New York City. It is shot in mockumentary format and is the only chapter in the Cloverfield Universe to have used this cinematic ploy.
Then there is 10 Cloverfield Lane, entirely set in a kind of bunker during what appears to be an alien attack. It plays a lot more on tension, character characterization and paranoia. There are however some monsters who are aliens (literally).
The latest is The Cloverflied Paradox and is set in 2028 on a space station. After various ups and downs, it turns out that the film tells of parallel universes and in the end we see the monster of the first Cloverfield emerge from the atmosphere of the Earth, but much larger and more dangerous.
