Episode 2: https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/15000500/The-Lord-of-the-Rings-The-Rings-of-Power-S01E02-WEB-x264-TORRENTGALAXY I don't know why is not promoted yet among the highlights (side thumbs) |
Absolutely enthralling. The musical score, world building, character introductions, everything about it screams out LOTR. Blew my expectations out of the water. Fantastic. |
I love George R. R. Martin (and I know it's not one OR the other)... but this swipes the floor with House of the Dragon! Long live J. R. R. Tokien! (and good job so far adapting team!) |
It's not about money, it's about sending a message. - Lord Bezos |
So far so good (in fact, way better than I expected) The Hobbit films disappointed me, and I thought this was gonna be even worse, like when she fights the troll, but it turned OK. So, 'till here it has been a pass with flying colors. Speaking of flying... Does Gandalf ride meteors? |
Read the book, close your eyes and forget this cheap american production.. |
Cheap in sense of imagination, not money. At level of usual schemes from popular mini series,in decorations looking like made by AI dropped after Disney's Star Wars, just few original names, events taken from the Silmarilion but no sense of anything -even elves are ugly. This series will make mass imagination even poorer |
Cheap? 1 billion! Read the book? No book for this, just scattered information of the 2nd age Ugly elves? Just because some are brown? How... revealing. |
Guest 6223 please show us where the ugly elf touched you.. Go ahead, this comment section is a safe place |
Video is really good. Other than that, it put my wife to sleep and I was checked out by the middle of the show. |
Nice sets and wardrobe.Man Dumb Woman Smart is my takeaway. Is it worth a billion? Not even close.Audio 10 Video 10 Guest-1337 correct you are.lol |
All it takes is 1 black elf in a story chuck full of dragons, warmongering trolls, bipolar dwarfs, smelly hobbits and meteor riding magicians, to send ya'll in a raging box checking tirade about the decline in quality content you get to pirate.. Snowflakeism at its best.. or worst depending on which side of the fence you stand. |
Thank you TGxTV for an excellent torrent with top class A/V. Got this in SD and in 1080p, both are great. I am a seriously big fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings as books and movies, plus The Silmarillion. I've read all of them several times over, and listened to different audio versions. This is a nice adaptation of a story that uses the characters -- and invents a few more -- within Tolkien's overarching narrative. The characters -- old and new -- fit well with what Tolkien created, and the costumes, settings and effects are all what the books conjured up in my imagination. Although, if that was Olorin/Gandalf who arrived at the end of episode one, then that wasn't how Tolkien told it All the same, this is an excellent start, pretty faithful to the original storyline, which -- for this period, it has to be said -- Tolkien only really sketched out in The Silmarillion, it's appendices, and the appendices of The Lord of the Rings. I thought it was extremely well put together from acting and production through to narrative, and I am seriously looking forward to the rest!! Oh, and anyone who criticizes this on the basis of "Man Dumb Woman Smart", nope, check out the books; Galadriel was always the backbone, determination, and strength of the Cirdan/Elrond/Celeborn/Gandalf resistance to Sauron. She was the one to whom Gandalf turned to for help after he fought the balrog in Moria. Anyway, enough of my geeking out, thanks again TGxTV much appreciated. |
I'm RepublicanCisStright and agree 100%, well said! Thumbs up. |
