As a further safeguard against Arisa, Victor sends Gleb to take the Safronovs hostage (all but Egor who was away). As the bot show closes in, Victor needs them alive and Arisa cooperative for only one more day (after which he won't). Pavel and Irina try to gain Egor's cooperation, but the kid's wary of them ignoring his recent public misdeed and, slipping away, infiltrates Cronos to rescue his dad. Bars, now operating independently and boldly, leads the Liquidators to invade the Cronos bot contest. He changes tactics, though, after running across Egor and confronting Arisa. Following a hospital shootout, Svetov reinstates Varlamov and agrees to a warrant against Victor. The bot contest begins, aired live, where the Minister's true test surprises many, and Arisa's actions surprise everyone.
