Blasted follows childhood friends Sebastian and Mikkel, who are reunited for Sebastian's bachelor party. While Mikkel never matured past teenage laser tag-prodigy, Sebastian has grown into a career-obsessed workaholic who's using the party to schmooze a potential client. Due amici d'infanzia uniscono le forze e riportano in vita la loro squadra di laser tag per far fronte all'invasione aliena che ha interrotto un addio al celibato.

Il film è un action/Sci-fi con una buona dose di commedia. La storia prende il via durante una festa di addio al celibato di un giovane che sta per convolare a nozze. Tuttavia, proprio durante i festeggiamenti, due amici si ritrovano improvvisamente a fronteggiare un'invasione aliena, un evento catastrofico quanto improbabile. I ragazzi non si perdono d'animo e nonostante gli alieni siano in numero assai elevato, decidono di passare al contrattacco.

A questo punto, i due dovranno ricorrere alla loro specialità: la lotta con le pistole e i fucili laser, con i quali si riveleranno dei cecchini pressoché infallibili. Ma la lotta è appena cominciata, e portarla a termine non sarà affatto semplice…
