After the death of Jimi Hendrix, his friend and bass guitarist Billy Cox of Band Of Gypsys put together a band that includes Charlotte Char Vinnedge - guitarist from The Tremolons, Luv'd Ones (obsessed with playing Jimi Hendrix) and drummer Robert Tarp Tarrant. The producer was Lelan Rogers, brother of Kenny Rogers. This album is the band's tribute to their idol Jimi Hendrix. Many still argue who exactly: Noel Redding or Billy Cox was Hendrix's best bassist? However, it was Charlotte who was the true source of inspiration at that time in the group. Few have mastered Jimi's craft like Char Vinnedge did on Nitro Function. Not without reason in the list of performers of the album she is announced with the nickname "The Electric Lady". Surprisingly, the album appears to have been released in several countries around the world, but not in the US, the band's home country.
