. A very obscure British band. But the band was formed by talented keyboardist and singer/songwriter Alan Trajan (Robertson) from Scotland. He went on to play with tubby jazz man George Melly's band so I probably saw him at Ronnie Scotts or maybe the 100 Club. . What really interests me is the guy on accoustic guitar who appears to be the unbelievably talented English folk/jazz/blues master of fingerpicking Davy (Davey) Graham. Graham used the the alternate tuning of DADGAD and many followed his lead. Go listen to "Anji" (or "Angi") his most famous composition. One of the greatest influences on the 60's folk revival in the UK. . An album that is well worth a listen. . Enjoy |
