Description

Wild Turkey was formed by ex-Jetro Tull bassist Glen Cornick. Though the music would not usually be classified in the genre of progressive rock, it is consistent in style and quality to earlier Tull music and directly associated with one of the most significant and influential prog bands of all time.

The 2006 version of Wild Turkey is Glenn Cornick but much much more bringing on ex-members of Jethro Tull, Maddy Prior Band, Rick Wakeman Band, Babe Ruth and Gentle Giant as is documented on the credtis for You & Me In The Jungle.

Of the original members, Glenn Cornick retuns (of course) , but so is Gary Pickford-Hopkins whose departure to join Rick Wakeman for Journey To The Center of the Earth in 1974 coincided with the end of Wild Turkey.
