Plot:
Andrew, (Eugene Simon) on a quest to uncover hidden truths about his family history, provides a top-secret agency with his DNA in order to discover his ancestry. It's revealed that not only does Andrew have unlocked superhuman powers within his DNA but his grandparents previously participated in a government program that tried to influence human senses. He joins the program only to find, he's not alone. Joining him at the grand research facility in the British countryside, is a group of other individuals with superhuman skills. The agency tells Andrew that he'll be able to receive information based on his senses and furthermore be able to control the senses of others. However as the secret training unfolds, Andrew starts to struggle with the program due to his emotions continually being triggered. Very strange things start to happen following this as he is placed in several bizarre scenarios that make him question his reality.

 | A seriously flawed script. Andrew had a DNA test looking for family background information. His information is revealed to some agency even though it should have been secret. He goes to receive the results from his DNA scan when he is confronted by someone who is a manipulative lunatic who demands all sorts of information from him. After leaving he is stalked at home, and the forsaid lunatic arrives on his doorstep leaving an envelope under the door. He follows behind the lunie by about 20 paces, and in turn notices two other suspicious characters. Ignoring them he follows the lunie into the underground, and is again confronted by the lunie, only this time the lunies muscle assaults him, and Andrew starts defending himself in slow mo, like a bullet time episode. He keeps apologising to the "Ape" for his defense. At that point the lunie, tells him he is special and he needs to come with them if he wants to learn more. I have to say, in any kind of rational world this makes no sense. At no time did anything in the plot make any sense, and I started to feel like this must be some nightmare where I was trapped in watching crappy movies, slowly going insane. Wow, not fun at all. |
