Howdy! Possibly the most anticipated and talked-about music documentary of all time. So of course I'm gonna butt in here with some random comments that nobody wants to read. This started to pop up on another torrent site (whose name shall not be spoken) a couple days ago and I frantically tried to figure out which of the 10 different versions and quality levels I should go for. I settled on the smaller ones and watched all three episodes bit by bit over the past few days. Regarding the comments above: Yes, there are three episodes - and all 3 of them are included in this share by GalaxyTV. As for the documentary itself, it is both fascinating and bittersweet to have a front row seat with The Fab Four as they rehearsed for their infamous last gig on the rooftop; an apt metaphor for a legendary band that had reached the top. It was absolutely brilliant to see Paul sitting at the piano toward the end of episode 2, improvising his way through 'Let It Be' - before the lyrics were even finished - and then watching it all come together at the very end. When I was a kid, our family would spend summer vacations on the Boardwalk in Wildwood N.J. back in the early 1970s. Let It Be and Hey Jude played on the game-room jukebox non-stop, all day long. Good times. Good memories. Episode 1 runtime: 2 hours and 30 minutes Episode 2 runtime: 2 hours and 47 minutes Episode 3 runtime: 2 hours and 18 minutes Big thanks to GalaxyTV for providing an excellent package with subtitles and a small file size. what a brilliant upload thank you ..unfortunately for all us fans who grew up with this band the worst part about this is ono a no talent person who since john's death has proved it |
Thxs uploader , big Beatles Fan and many thxs to Peter Jackson and crew for bring the inside look at the making of classic Beatles songs Its quite long, but its history your watching Well worth the watch Far better than this head banging shit we listen to now a day 10/10+++ |
thx for the great torrent :) being a child of the early 70's just about every household was blasting beatles/abba/stones. if you are not a beatles fan then this documentary is somewhat boring as it is just a lengthy show of old footage of a group of bandmates not really doing much. it lacks a real structure. if you are just someone who enjoyed some of their music but lack that 'hero worship' gene then it is interesting to see the dynamic between the badmates without filter and media bias. also the process a global mega band, like the beatles, went through to create and refine songs through to recording, something we will never see again as the music industry seems to focus more on looks and pitch perfect than talent nowadays. bands used to tour to get a fanbase and then sell records. mini brain fart aside, if you are a beatles diehard screaming fan, then this is mana from heaven and will be the best thing since sliced bread so who cares about opinions? go mad and call for an oscar :D personally i am mildly entertained as i was a bit of a fan. they did influence the industry in a big way and because i am a guitarist and they are also homegrown (even my early childhood has a beatles soundtrack), this fits into my entertainment remit in a few ways. |
good job this has 3 episodes in it then, so it isn't misleading anyone |
s1 is 3 episodes, third drops tomorrow. so to call this S1 is misleading. |
Thank you very much for this. It's an important part of music history. |
