 | Why do people think that Game of Thrones was the only book saga worthy of a TV series? They have taken a story that is so huge, complex and truly entertaining and thought that giving it an "adult" overhaul would make people want to watch it. Does this seem like I am unimpressed with what has been done to this story? Good! Just for starters: Moiraine Damodred is an elegant lady in flowing gowns and a jewel on her forehead - enter Aria Stark at age 40 in blackk leather trousers. For me it went rapidly downhill from there. Don't even get me started on, "pissing in your mouth and telling me it's raining!" Damn I hate what they've done to one of my favourite stories of all "Time." |
