Great upload. 1971 a year that herald a lot of disasters to come, exposee of all sorts of things that were being covered up.Not much has changed. |
The English subs are only when they start speaking Japanese. But thanks for the up. |
Today is movie day at my house. Just finished it. Yes, Mr. Depp is unrecognizable - but also brilliant in his role as an investigative photographer for Life Magazine. He must have spent some serious time in the make-up chair. And gained some weight, but who hasn't this year? The critics are raving about this flick - and there's no denying that it's a well crafted film about an important topic, but be aware that some of the imagery is both disturbing and very sad. A/V is the cat's meow. Rating the film 8/10. With such a depressing topic, I just can't go higher, even though it probably deserves a 9. Thank you, GalaxyRG. 🥂 PS: Kudos to the person who chose the opening song, 'I'd Love to Change the World', by a group called Ten Years After, which was released in 1971, the same year this film takes place. They couldn't have picked a more appropriate track. |
Thank you GalaxyRG Nice share.. Audio 9 Video 9 This is a Serviceable Watch for Anyone Looking to learn More about This True Story.. About the Chisso Corporation of Okuchi Japan Pouring Mercury Waste into Minamata Bay Killing Thousands.. And Destroying the Lives of Thousands More. And About what Happened to Smith while Trying to Capture It. It’s Well Paced Decently Filmed & Decently Acted.. But it Lacks that Spark to Propel it from Just Informative To All Consuming.. |
Depp, WOOOOOO!! He's been great in many films, maybe a bit complacent towards the end of the gap, but.. he's BACK?! Good, more pirates of the Caribbean then? Entertaining flicks those are!! How about What's Eating Gilbert Grape 2? lol. TY for the UP, excellent film. |
Is that really Johnny Depp on the cover?! He looks a helluv lot older than he did in 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' And what's it with the glasses Is his eyesight playing up? |
